Two days until Pendulum hit SW4 festival with their first London live show in six years, there could only be one #TBT today…
One of five singles to come from their last album Immersion, Witchcraft landed in the summer of 2010, denting the UK chart at 29. The original’s big riff and energy were unavoidable, but for many of us it was all about Rob Swire’s own gully-galvanised drumstep mix. Still razor sharp and hard-hitting to this day, if anyone can better Pendulum in a remix, it’s Pendulum co-founder Rob Swire. It’s also one of the last ever Pendulum productions to drop before they quit the project and came back a year later to blast us with lazers as Knife Party (who are also playing at SW4 this weekend as their only UK show)
With Rob Swire suggesting a new Pendulum album could well become a reality in the future as recently as two weeks ago, perhaps it won’t be one of their final Pendulum productions for long…
